I Work With Leaders Who Are Carrying More Than Their Title Reflects
Black women navigating corporate finance rooms that were not built for them.
Queer executives managing visibility and safety at the same time.
Mission driven leaders holding both mission and exhaustion.
My work is not about pushing you harder.
It is about helping you lead with clarity, durability, and humanity — without sacrificing yourself to do it.
Burnout is rarely a personal flaw.
More often, it is a system signal.
Research consistently shows that emotional exhaustion, values misalignment, broken trust, and chronic overextension are core drivers of burnout.
For marginalized leaders, those pressures are intensified by identity-based labor — the unspoken work of navigating bias, code-switching, and over-performing to secure belonging.
You are not broken.
You are leading in systems that were not designed with your sustainability in mind.
• Slow down the noise
• Name what is actually happening
• Distinguish structural strain from personal capacity
• Reclaim leadership that feels aligned — not performative
Clients often describe our work as:
Seen. Grounded. Clear.
You will not be rushed toward transformation.
You will not be shamed for exhaustion.
You will not be pushed to disclose more than you’re ready to.
We move at the
speed of trust.
This begins with clarity — often through the Leadership Clarity & Burnout Diagnostic, a structured process that helps leaders externalize strain before attempting change
• Leadership Grounding Labs (stabilization without reinvention)
• Full ecosystem- Entry, Middle, …
• 1:1 executive coaching for deeper systems realignment
• Strategic advisory for institutions committed to justice-centered leadership
This is an ecosystem designed for durability, not hype
• Burnout research and emotional labor scholarship
• Systems theory and power-aware leadership frameworks
• Intersectional analysis of race, gender, and generation in organizations
• Cultural models like the Strong Black Woman schema and identity-based resilience research
• Conservation of Resources theory and multidimensional burnout models

Not to impress you.
To protect you.
Organizations are asking more from leaders while offering less structural support.
Public administration research shows that burnout disproportionately impacts younger women of color in government and leadership roles
Research on BIPOC mental health providers during COVID-19 found high levels of emotional exhaustion and stress directly tied to racialized experiences
The pattern is consistent:
When identity-based stress meets high performance culture, exhaustion becomes normalized.
I work at that intersection.
I bring over a decade of leadership development experience across:
• Corporate media
• Public service institutions
• Nonprofit advocacy
• Higher education
I currently serve as Vice President of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility at PRX (Public Radio Exchange), and I am Co-Executive Director of Justice Over Everything.
My work spans coaching, organizational strategy, civic engagement, and leadership sustainability.
But titles are secondary.
The core of my work is this:
I create space where leaders can be whole.
This work is for you if:
You are functioning — but it feels brittle.
You are high-performing — but quietly exhausted.
You are questioning whether what you’re feeling is burnout, misalignment, or something deeper.
You want clarity without pressure to immediately change everything.
