Every Leader Deserves Support.

Whatever your financial access is right now — there is a JOE pathway built for you.

You Belong Here — Regardless of What You Can Invest

JOE exists because the leaders most needed by their communities are often the least supported by the systems they work within. We did not build this organization to serve only the leaders who can afford premium coaching.

Everything on this page is free or sliding scale. No income documentation. No embarrassing intake questions. No gatekeeping. If you need community, clinical support, civic education, or a structured path through a crisis — there is something here for you.

If you are at a point where you are ready and able to invest in individual 1:1 coaching, you can find that ecosystem at justiceovereverything.com/work-with-us. But you do not have to start there — and you do not have to start there to belong to JOE.

THE JOE SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Sponsored Access to the 30-Day Exposure Audit & The Reclamation

Each quarter, JOE reserves a small number of fully sponsored seats in the 30-Day Exposure Audit ($1,997 value) and The Reclamation ($3,500 value) for leaders who need the work but cannot invest in it right now. Scholarship seats are funded by JOE’s donor community — your giving page.

To be considered: be a Black, Latine, or queer leader in a civic, nonprofit, or public sector role; demonstrate financial need (brief written statement — no documentation required); and be ready to fully engage the program within 30 days of award.

Scholarship seats are limited. Priority goes to leaders at active structural risk — glass-cliff exposure, recent layoff, or acute burnout with no institutional support.

“I didn’t think I could afford what I needed. The Village gave me a community that held me until I could figure out the next step. I didn’t have to have it all figured out to belong.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions we hear most from leaders finding their entry point.hemes, go to Site Styles

Do I have to disclose my income to access sliding-scale programs?

No. For The Village, you choose your own amount — no documentation, no verification, no questions. For the JOE Scholarship Fund, we ask for a brief written statement about your financial situation, but we do not require pay stubs, tax returns, or any formal documentation.

Can I move from a free or sliding-scale program into individual coaching later?

Yes — and that is exactly what the ecosystem is designed for. Many leaders start in The Village or the Changemaker Village and move into individual coaching when they are ready and able to invest in it. There is no pressure to do so on any timeline. You are welcome to stay in the community programs indefinitely.

What if I have been laid off and cannot afford anything right now?

Start with The Village (free–$75/mo) for community support, and apply for a JOE Scholarship seat for The Reclamation — a 6-week intensive built specifically for leaders navigating life after layoff. Scholarship seats are available quarterly and can be fully sponsored.

I am employed but I am in a serious situation. Is there any support available that isn’t 1:1 coaching?

Yes. The Changemaker Village (if you qualify and a seat is available) and The Village membership both provide structured support without requiring a coaching investment. The free diagnostic is also a strong first step — it gives you a clear map of your structural risk, which you can use on your own or bring into a future coaching conversation.

Can my organization sponsor my participation?

Yes. If your organization has a DEI, people development, or leadership budget, they may be able to sponsor your participation in the CLDI Leadership Cohort or the Changemaker Village. We can provide organizational sponsorship documentation on request. Email [email protected].

Still not sure where to start?

A 20-minute conversation is free — and there is no pressure to commit to anything. Just clarity on what JOE can offer you right now.
