I help audiences understand how policy, leadership, and culture shape real people’s lives.
I show up in moments of tension, transition, and public debate to bring clarity, context, and accountability.
Media professionals call on me when a story needs more than a quote. It needs understanding.
I am a senior equity and leadership executive, public scholar, and executive coach.
I serve as Executive Vice President of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility and Leadership Development at a national public media organization.
I am also the President of St. Pete Pride, one of the largest Pride organizations in the southeastern United States, where I lead community safety strategy, public policy engagement, and coalition-building during a period of escalating political pressure on LGBTQ+ communities.
My work bridges research, leadership practice, and lived experience.
I hold a doctorate in education with research focused on:
Multicultural competence
Decision-making in complex systems
How leaders interpret risk, identity, and responsibility
My research informs how I analyze:
Public policy impacts
Organizational responses to conflict
Leadership behavior under scrutiny
I also co-lead Justice Over Everything, a nonprofit focused on civic education, policy literacy, and leadership sustainability.
I have advised:
State legislators and senior staff
Nonprofit executives and boards
Public media leaders
Higher education institutions
Civic and grassroots coalitions
I help audiences understand:
What policy decisions mean for LGBTQ+ communities and marginalized groups
How leadership choices shape safety, trust, and legitimacy
What accountability looks like beyond statements and symbolism
I communicate with precision.
I connect systems to people.
I translate complexity into language audiences can act on.
If your audience is asking:
What is really happening here?
Who is impacted by this decision?
What does responsible leadership look like now?
I can help you answer it.
